  2. i find myself getting frustated doing this. to the point where i get angry. i cant touch the ground like that without bending my knees. and i cant plank for more than like 10 seconds… downward dog is never actually a relaxing pose, my head feels heavy and i sweat like crazy. 

    im so frustrated at being out of shape and this video just drove me to the point where i want to yell or break something

  3. Still the best yoga sequence to do every morning straight from getting out of bed every morning. Makes the rest of my day hyper productive and calm. Audio is so great that I often do almost the whole sequence with my eyes closed. Keep them coming Erica!

Hi, Erica, I was looking for a beginner yoga start for myself and stumbled upon your 1st video, as it is geared toward weight loss, which is what I needed.  I viewed the entire video, and plan to start with this one tomorrow  You explain every pose, along with modifications, which I will need to do to begin with.  I strongly believe this will work for me.  I will work with this video for a few weeks until I can get to #2.  Thank you for sharing such a comfortable video for us overweight/obese individuals!

No I did not!….I was saying it was the perfect video for people, like myself, and others who need to lose weight.  If you re-read my message, I said “thank you for sharing a video for “us”, who need to lose weight”, not you!  I had been looking for somewhere to start, and stumbled upon your video that day, and found it useful for ME.  I am very educated, and know what, and how to talk to people, who are in the business of helping others.

    1. I thought the same thing, but like with everything else if you do it over and over again it get’s a lot easier, and then you can move on to something harder. 🙂 Yoga really pays off if you stick to it. 🙂

  8. The details she gives are relevant to a beginner, every time she mentioned one and I adjusted my pose, I felt the stretch intensify and the quality differ. Pacing is also great. If I was in Austin, I’d look her up for a class in person. Great job!

  9. I did stop at about the 9min mark thinking I couldn’t do it and then I looked at her amazing body and thought “I want that”. Somehow I made it through the entire video. Thanks so much this is a great routine!
