  1. I have a definite preference for wavy or curly hair, Meera.  So that’s my vote.  But you (and Katrina!) are very beautiful with straight hair, too!

This video was so relaxing!  I could feel my blood pressure lowering by the minute.  And that “little snake” pose is simply breathtaking …  😉

    1. Charlie, after making it onto Corrina’s live cast the other week, you need to complete the trilogy and join in with a yoga vid, then get a massage.
Just, please, don’t let Mike talk you into wearing yoga pants…

    2. +Pete West I hear you, Pete.  Trust me, no one wants to see me in yoga pants!  I’d love to do a yoga video with any of the lovely PsycheTruth ladies, and I have volunteered for a massage video.  I’m not holding my breath on that, though.  I’m sure there’s a LONG line of volunteers ahead of me!  😉

  2. Hi…i’m new to this (yoga). Is this video made specifically for women or can men benefit from this also?? Are there any moves that may specifically be more beneficial to men?thanks.

    1. This basic sequence is the same for men and women and a great place to start Yoga. Please follow along and let us know how it goes. It’s possible if it’s your first time that I won’t be easy but it will become easier and easier each time you do it.

    2. +PsycheTruth i had a go. It was really good. I found it calming. I did it on wooden flooring. Do i need a yoga mat? Are 0they all the same? Or is there something you could recommend Thanks again.

    3. +Cuong Luong
Honestly, you can do Yoga without a yoga mat. They are there to keep you from getting dirty, give you some extra traction so you don’t slip and provide a reference point to keep in one place during a Yoga class. If you slip on the wood floors, you might want to get a mat. People of course have been yoga for more than 1000 years without a mat though.

    4. +Cuong Luong get a yoga mat.. Will give you slight support and ur joints and bones wont go against hard floor directly.. Or theyll hurt . Or do it on soft smooth grassland without mat..

    1. +gangstaflamingo I second your motion.  ASMR.  MassageASMR’s channel, in particular.  His are some of the highest quality!  Or visit my ASMR channel.  Just look up “Vicariously Yours” and SUBSCRIBE!

  3. Ah what a beautiful addition for my day, thank god for Meera, that’s what I say!
Do you do yoga just for exercise/health or do you get a spiritual/psychological benefit as well?  You appear calm and in control 😉

  4. Relaxation starts as a decision.

This is a beginners yoga routine for relaxation and flexibility. (Great qualities for all areas of life!)

    1. PsycheTruth Thanks for the video content! Sorry for the intrusion, I would love your thoughts. Have you researched – Patlarny Restore Health Principle (should be on google have a look)? It is an awesome one off product for getting an amazing body using Yoga without the hard work. Ive heard some incredible things about it and my cooworker finally got cool success with it.

  5. As a guy who goes to the gym regularly and does a lot of weight training, i really never realised how inflexible I was until I tried this. I can’t even touch my toes, so as you can imagine, this was difficult and I got a bit of a sweat on; you guys make it look effortless!

  6. Is it just me? I find the “overly slow, positive and calm voice” really tiresome and it makes me want to switch off the video and find a better one. No clue why.

  7. you lost my interest in the video when you asked people to let you know if we liked your hair wavy. cheesy.

  8. Some of the comments on here are just absolutely rude. If you didn’t like the video that’s fine, but there’s zero need to insult the women who put themselves out there to help you.
I really enjoyed the video, and will be looking in to others they’ve done. Thank you, ladies – you’re beautiful, strong, and I appreciate you! <3

    1. Hailey Dlm comment sections on videos are intended for feedback. Even negative feedback is feedback. She could use some of the comments to make better videos.

  9. I am 14 and this is my first attempt at yoga. I just finished this video and I gotta say, im definately a stiff person with minimal flexibility but after this video my legs feel quite stretched. Im wondering, if I continue yoga could I one day become as flexible as the ladies in this video?

    1. the question is irrelevant fella, what actually matters is wether you become more flexible than you are now. don’t judge yourself by the standards of others but just enjoy practising, that’s the best way to improve

    1. The hair comment was off-putting. I did stay and finish the session, but the comment seemed like it had no place. Tell me below what you think of my hair… really so silly, your hair (or outfit or make-up or any part of your appearance is so unimportant and silly to bring attention to in any instructional video). Imagine going on youtube to try to find a video on, say, how to start woodcarving and the instructor says, “So I tried a little something different with my beard today, let me know if you like it or not in the comments below.”

  10. very good!
I’m feeling good. I never thought about doing yoga… It is my first time and I loved!

    1. I was thinking the same thing because I’ve taken yoga classes before. I am more stiff on my days off of working out! I need to become more flexible!
