This Day 12 practice promotes a happy and healthy support system. Seek balance as you stabilize the core musculature of the spine. Find a sense of ease as you strengthen the buttocks & legs and find support from within – that lasts. For real. Improve balance and coordination and ride the wave of yesterday's Shakti practice to create a focus that serves you. Keep coming back to your breath. Integrate the breath into each posture and every transition. Enjoy.

  2. I feel like my tree pose is improving on my right side but stuck on my left side…i have no balance apparently on that side….😶

  3. Day 12 Done! My phone buzzed halfway through this and normally I would have paused to answer it but yoga is amazing in the way that it just seems to make time stand still and us forget about everything. This was awesome. My warrior 3 leg raises are getting back to 90° which makes me really happy! 🙂

  4. My tree was like a young sapling blowing in a breeze but it stayed upright.  I so look forward to doing these daily and find myself doing them when for example waiting for the kettle to boil and even if waiting for a bus. 🙂

    1. Day twelve done! I definitely have to work on tree pose and warrior three. I was so wobbly!!! But I’m feeling good. 18 days to go!!!

      Hi Adriene. I’m revisiting Day 12 after making it through to Day 20 of the challenge (#FWFG!), and I’m really loving how much my core (and my ability to use my core) has improved vis-a-vis these balancing poses. However, I find I have to give up halfway, even if my core and my legs are fine, because my earthed foot tenses and seizes up. Any advice on how to prevent the foot from clenching up like this?

  7. I am doing the challenge and am currently on the day 16, but I always go back to previous days and practice those too (favourites are day 6, day 8 and day 12). I love how you make us train our muscles without those annoying repetitions and counting as is done in fitness but you just breathe through them. 😀 Thank you so much Adriene for these videos, they brighten my day and make me feel more alive and happy! 🙂

  8. Amazing! when I started this I couldn’t even get close to grabbing my feet for happy baby. But I actually grabbed them this time! I couldn’t do the pose but dangit I grabbed my freakin feet!

  9. Wow my lower leg muscles and arches did not like holding myself in the tree pose. Also, i had a bad choice of pants, too slipery and my feet kept sliding down! Warrior 3 is much harder but itll be good to practice it and get better. Almost halfway through the challenge!! Im thinking yoga could be a regular thing for me even afterwards 🙂

    1. +heyysimone My pants did the same thing, I was wearing pyjama bottoms, so I rolled them up and my foot gripped better onto my skin.

  10. My favorite part in your videos is when you say “Come on, stay with me, you got this!” It totally helps me to keep focusing on my breath and makes holding the poses much easier. Thanks 🙂

  12. I can’t believe I’m already on day 12!! I’m having so much FUN! And I am noticing muscles in my legs staring to show!!! I have added this challenge to my routine the summer and I’m loving it! Thank you Adrienne! :)))))
